Nana Furiya was born in 1961 and brought up in Tokyo. She learned lithographs at Bratislava University of Art.

Her first book is "MEKKIRA, MOKKIRA, DOON, DON" in 1985 as a number of children's companion which is the monthly picture book in FUKUINKAN.

She is drawing a lot of picture books and illustrations for novels. Now she takes her residence in Slovakia.
